Clinic X

Introducing Clinic X, a sexual health clinic for people who are trans or gender diverse.
Accessing services around sexual health and wellness can be daunting, especially for those in LGBTQ+ community who often experience additional barriers to the care they need. This is why Framework have launched Clinic X, a service specifically designed to provide sexual health testing and advice for trans and gender diverse people in Nottingham.
Clinic X is a safe space for trans and gender diverse people to access free and confidential sexual health testing, advice around safer sex, and access condoms, dental dams, gloves and lube. The clinic runs from 5:00-7:00pm on the first Thursday of each month from the Health Shop in Hockley. It is an ‘out of hours’ clinic, meaning that it operates after our service has closed, so people have the choice of accessing when other people aren’t around, and it is quieter.
Clinic X are ran by an inclusive team and work with a sensitive approach. They do not do any physical examinations, and allow people to choose which testing feels most comfortable for themselves. They can test for Chlamydia, Gonorrhoea, HIV, Syphilis and Hepatitis B. Hepatits B vaccinations are also available, but these would need to be booked for a time outside of the Clinic X.
The clinic is currently operating on an appointment-only basis, so people will need to contact Framework to book in beforehand. This can be done via phone, text, or email.
